Booking an Appointment

Please contact our office at 519-620-1510 to schedule an appointment. We do not book appointments via email. We do not require a referral for you to receive service from us; however, some extended health insurance providers may require a physician’s referral.

Extended Health Insurance Coverage

If clients have extended healthcare benefits through their workplace that cover psychological services, we recommend that they clarify with their workplace or insurance company the terms of their benefits (i.e. $ coverage per person/year; percentage of billing covered). Some plans require submission of a physician’s referral for psychological services before clients can access their extended health coverage.

Psychological services are not covered by OHIP.

Payment

Payments are made by cheque or cash only. We do not have debit or credit card billing. Clients are issued invoices/receipts at the end of each session which can be submitted to their extended health insurance company if they have extended health benefits. Clients are typically reimbursed, as per their available coverage, by their extended healthcare insurance. We do not submit invoices on the client’s behalf (except for some third party or motor vehicle accident cases).

Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel and/or reschedule appointments. Unless some urgent matter makes this option unfeasible, our fee of $65.00 will be charged. We do not accept cancellations via email. Clients must call the office to notify us of cancellation and/or rescheduling appointments. Clients can leave a voice mail with their cancellation if a staff member is not available to take their call.
